Cloudy, showers to snow showers at daybreak. Snow showers about into the afternoon, falling temps. Wv high ground into the 20s, single digit windchills…some clearing very late. Snowcover remained across high wv upslope areas. I lost most except under some hemlock and pines.
Temp profile this afternoon. The Alleghenies were the coldest location in the east today. The Sods were running 10 colder than Mt.Washington N.H with this setup this afternoon, and 1 colder than Mt.Mitchell N.C.
