Partly cloudy start, dimmed sun at variation through the day. I hit 70° for the 1st time this season and the 1st since Nov 1. Also, the streak of 151 straight days with snow/ice at Bitt 2nw Valley saw the last remainder melt off in the afternoon. Then it snowed on Monday, patches remained yesterday morning. Making this the first complete day that no trace anywhere could be found since Nov 14..

Cloudy, showers to snow showers at daybreak. Snow showers about into the afternoon, falling temps. Wv high ground into the 20s, single digit windchills…some clearing very late. Snowcover remained across high wv upslope areas. I lost most except under some hemlock and pines.

Temp profile this afternoon. The Alleghenies were the coldest location in the east today. The Sods were running 10 colder than Mt.Washington N.H with this setup this afternoon, and 1 colder than Mt.Mitchell N.C.
