Cloudy start, a brief shower, partly cloudy heart of the day, cloudy end, some evening rain. There were storms around the area in the afternoon, I just didn’t get any .

Mix of  clouds and sun. A few sprinkles early morning.

Red Oaks- close to breaking open. A lot of this depends on the slope facing direction, tree size

Birch- nothing yet. You may find small saplings with mini leaves

Beech- nothing yet

Maples- red maple really nothing, sugar maple even of size had some small leaves. Also saplings had mini leaves

American Chestnut- no mature ones around, but this sapling with small leaves

Wild Cherry- the most greenery out right now. Small trees, if in abundance really give the green look to the woods. The larger ones, also in mini leaf stage

Ironwood- mini leaves

Apple of unknown variety beginning to bloom. Others around this one are not quite there yet

Non native white spruce with new growth showing

nothing on the Red Spruce yet, even the tiny ones…hints of tips swelling

A variety today….dense fog held into the Eastern side of the Alleghenies from Savage Mt and north until late afternoon. Holding temps much much cooler than a short distance west. Some showers popped up in Tucker County in the afternoon, briefly knocking their temps back.
