Mar 8(Sun)

Mainly clear, cold start, extremely dry air mass in place. Beautiful mild day. Areas that have snow, little melt on northerly slopes and shady areas due to the dry air mass. At 45-50°, some spots on Weiss Knob were powder at 1:30-2pm

Clear and cold overnight, low 17F here but near zero in the valley frost pockets, then mostly sunny and sharply warmer, high 55F. Saw two robins this afternoon. Daffodils have poked through in the garden

A single day rise of 52.2°. I do believe that is the single greatest single day rise since the station was put in, in Jan 2019
