Extraordinary low temperature this morning of 31.7F here is the lowest June temperature since temperature records commenced in October 1998. Frost widely visible away from buildings and trees. Previous record June low temperature here was 33F on June 2, 2003. At the Canaan Valley frost pocket research site in the north end of the valley the low temperature this morning was 22.6F.
