Flurries this morning and skies breaking. Differences in snow amounts place to place pretty impressive. Several inches near Bittinger, barely a trace south of Oakland towards Redhouse and increasing south of Redhouse to Canaan.

Cloudy start with snow beginning shortly after daybreak. Periods of heavy snow at times. Areas below 2300-2400′ that missed the heavier pockets mostly melted off between snows.

“Rain ending overnight, dense fog at daybreak. 24-hour precip of 1.58 inches is the greatest single day amount in the past 15 months. See table 13.2 below. A little sunshine broke out during the afternoon but it was a sharply cooler day as temperatures mostly hung in the 40s”
