Tossing it back Tuesday

To Nov 1, 2014. A trip to Cass and up Bald Knob on the last Cass ride of the season. Rain changed to snow above Whitaker station and by the time we arrived at the Bald Knob overlook 1-2″ was on the ground. That created a perfect winter scene through the Spruce. On the way up I listened to some guys who were regulars once per season to Cass from somewhere in Ohio and were also weather observers. Wishing now I would have got their name. A very cold ride, but would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was a much larger snow even further south into the Carolinas…

pics up….

looking up from the Whitaker station the snow could be seen falling
