■COLOR GAUGE■

● OVERALL COLORS ACROSS THE TOP:

1- The heath(the famous reds) are past peak. That said, good locations remain, with good lighting and or moisture saturated, enough to give some nice photo opportunities. Many though are 50-75+% bare

2- Maples, A mix bag. Many have dropped or partially dropped. Some are still holding on and the moisture saturation helped those pop some. A few green or only partially turned ones remain, but when those change, the remainder will have fallen. Overall, maples on top are past peak. Still some spots to go, and some color will hold a week or two.

3- Birch, Some nice yellows and also many are bare.

4- Aspen, Coming along. Some golden, some partially turned. 7-10 days the Aspen should be pretty good.

5- Oaks, mostly green, some browns, some hints of rusty red. Oak isnt dominant until you break the east side, once you progress down the east side, more oak dominant. Lower and a later changing tree= more green. With the exception of drought area browns.
