Station is located approximately 1.7 miles Northwest of the PA high point at an elevation of 3038′ with the high point of Mt.Davis being 3213′ on the Negro Mt ridgeline. Bittinger 2nw Valley is located 13.7 miles southwest on the east side of the Negro Mountain ridgeline that runs as most ridges do SW to NE.

The Mt.Davis station site is in a open clearing with the area west and northwest recently being timbered and opening up the view.
