Some numbers within ….all data midnight to midnight except Oakland, Bayard, Frostburg 7am. I used midnight to midnight for Davis 3SE….had I used 7am to 7am for all stations tp include July 31-Aug 4th, that would lower numbers across the board. Unsure of their exact method. At any rate, all the numbers are too high. Majorority of Northern Garrett is not warmer than Southern Garrett, especially Oakland to Redhouse area, but is shown as such.
Average July maxes over the years at the Oakland and Bittinger coop 55-75. With the recent moves in the last several years of the Oakland COOP next to the hospital, temps bake warmer vs stations 1000′ lower and the spread vs Bittinger is greater. Despite this data, climate center would depict Bittinger even warmer than the already bogus Oakland Maxes.
Bitt 2nw Valley is recorded in a official issued MMTS with a data logger. Site is a bit lower in Ele vs original coop and max solar occurs until 1pm until the site location recieves filtered sun.
