snow depths greatly vary. From open protected areas, north facing slopes holding good coverage, sunny areas, with any sun facing slope seeing depletion of depth, windblow areas, south faces bare, under evergreen coverage moderate of listed dept .
Periods of rain continuing overnight but somewhat less than yesterday. Snow water equivalent of the snowpack this morning down to 4.1 in. Temperatures quickly dropped to the low 30s by late morning, changing the last of rain showers to snow and then ending. Partly sunny and windy with temperatures falling into the 20s in the afternoon then a few more snow flurries after nightfall.
Total snowfall so far this winter has reached 112 inches, still 18 inches behind the long term average for this date despite February’s abundant total of 46.5 inches. See Table 4 below.

Light rain resuming late night, temperatures holding in the 40s, then steady rain most of the day. Temperatures pushed into the low 50s through the afternoon and evening, sharply knocking down the snowcover and adding to the runoff.
The snow water equivalent of the snowpack this morning is 5.2 inches.
There were 23 days this month with 18 inches or more of snow on the ground, far more than average and equal to the infamous Feb 2010 when more than 100 inches of snow fell that month alone. See Table 7 below
