Temps at Canaan Bog

Temps at Canaan Bog were slower to fall vs Alder Bog(Below) but were not impacted by the wind as Alder was from 1am on. At 1am Alder was at 34.7 while Canaan bog was 41.6. Canaan bog reached its minimum at 6:21am at 34.9 ,while Alder was at 48.2°

Alder Bog at the Sods

Temps were on course to fall to freezing. At 1am temps were to 34.7°. At this time some wind begin to pick up along the Allegheny Front. These frost pockets saw the cold air rapidly scoured out. Further west at the bog on Canaan Mt, this was not the case.
